Seemed unusual to find a Seal Salamander showing signs of well-developed eggs this late in the year. I have come across them in late Spring and early Summer looking like this.

I've never found a Seal Salamander nesting with eggs but they reportedly lay eggs in July to mid-August in well-hidden areas with flowing water over the eggs.
